ADMISSIONS
Admission to Rose Hill can begin with a call to our Admission’s Office at 315-764-9700 or by faxing a chemical dependency evaluation to (315) 764-9868. Evaluations can also be mailed to the address below.

All calls and correspondence will be held in the strictest of confidence, as will be subsequent treatment.  After contacting the office, the Admissions Director will discuss treatment at ROSE HILL, and the appropriateness of this program for the adolescent in question.

The Admission Team will review your application and evaluation. If approved for admission, you will be notified of an admission date or given an approximate waiting time. If care exceeds the program's potential, options will be provided.

Upon admission, you will enter the first of four levels: A) Orientation - You will meet with the primary staff and receive a thorough physical. Orientation is completed when you finish the Orientation Sheet, complete the psychosocial with your Primary Counselor, and develop your individual treatment plan. B) Level One - Level One work is designed to address your behaviors. You will be asked to continue to meet with your counselor, engage your family in the process of recovery, present your Autobiography and maintain a point sheet average of 70%. When you feel ready for Level Two, you request it of the entire staff. C) Level Two - Level Two work requires continued changes in behavior and initial changes in your overall thinking. You will attend self-help meetings and continue family work. Discharge planning is on-going. D) Level Three - Level Three is requested of the staff and peers. A point average of 95% is required. Assignments are designed to bring about changes in thinking and you will need to change people, places and things. You will be expected to model recovery behaviors to your peers.

You will be supported throughout your treatment by a very professional and caring staff. We believe in “treatment without failure” and we work as hard as you do to bring about success. Long-term success will be determined by your commitment to a sober and clean lifestyle. We encourage you to stay in contact with us following treatment. You, your family, and your recovery are important to everyone at Rose Hill.
